Lightning Form

Lightning Form is a special buff that increases armor and spell resistance of your character dealing periodical damage to all nearby enemies. This ability increases your protection against physical and magical attacks. Your character receives less damage from magic and weapon.
The spell has a good additional effect - it deals AoE damage per second. Though the damage is not very high overall effect of the ability is rather good.
Lightning Form will be a good spell for all Sorcerers who like aggressive style. If you prefer face to face combat this spell is definitely for you. Storm Calling is a Sorcerer’s skill line that allows you to create a cool battle mage and Lightning Form will help you a lot. It can be used with Surge that increase weapon damage and giving you more power in battle.
The spell will also be helpful if you play as a tank increasing your survivability. It is also great to use Lightning Form with Lightning Splash which creates a field that deals AoE damage to enemies. It is a combination for all melee mages.
