Focused Charge

Focused Charge Requires Templar Cast Time Instant Cost Type: Active Charge with your divine lance to impale an enemy, dealing [1225 / 1238 / 1252 / 1265] Magic Damage. If the enemy hit is casting, they are interrupted and stunned for 3 seconds.

Focused Charge is a very beneficial spell that allows to move to the enemy quick, interrupt and deal damage. It can be useful against any class, especially against mages and different casters. The spell does not have AoE effects and can be used against one target.

Here is an example of how you can use Focused Charge in battle. Imagine that you see a Sorcerer who is casting different spells but the Sorcerer does not see you. You need to perform a sudden attack in order to shock the enemy. Focused Charge is one of the best ways to do it. Or another example: enemy stuns you and increasing distance to attack you with a ranged spell. You can use Focused Charge to move towards the enemy quick and break his plans.

Is the interruption effect really important? Well, many of spells in ESO are casted instantly, so your chances to interrupt such spells expressly are low. Very often you will do it occasionally. But you can interrupt different channeling spells and other spells that require time to cast. Interruption effect is a good bonus, but most of the time you will use Focused Charge to get closer to the target fast. It is a great spell for sudden attacks with a nice interruption bonus.
