Tactician is an amazing passive of the Emperor skill line. It increases siege weapon damage by 400% if you are current Emperor and by 8% if you are dethroned. That means an Emperor can crush keep walls and gates 4 times faster than a normal player. Of course this bonus becomes less strong after you are dethroned.
