Soul Summons is a passive ability from Soul Magic skill line. The ability allows you to resurrect without a soul gem once per hour. This will help you to save soul gems. It’s not a super must have ability but may be useful if you have few soul gems.
When you die you have two options: resurrect near the closest wayshrine or resurrect right at the place where you died. The second option will require a full soul gem.
