ESO for Consoles Will Not Be Launched in June

Hello guys! As you probably know developers of the Elder Scrolls Online planned to release console version of the game in June. I believe many console players were waiting for this launch. But unfortunately the console release was delayed.
Developers said that they faced with unexpected difficulties specific to console platforms only. PC/Mac version of the game differs from PS4 version. And PS4 version differs from Xbox One version. So the task is really difficult.
Though the console release is delayed developers offered a plan that would allow console owners to start playing Elder Scrolls Online on PC/Mac and then transfer their characters to console servers after release. Note, that this opportunity is available if you purchase ESO by the end of June.

Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released. The offer will allow you to begin playing immediately on the PC/Mac, and then add the PS4 or Xbox One version and transfer the character(s) you have created and developed. And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.
Right now there is no information about when the console version will be released. This means developers faced with serious problems and it may take time to solve all of them. We expect to see the console version in about 4-6 months, approximately in September – November 2014.

- Character transferring will lead to an unfair advantage of one group of players that transferred high level characters over another group that started playing after the release. This may be fixed if ZeniMax create special Cyrodiil Campaign fot the first group.
