Siphoning Strikes Requires Nightblade Cast Time Instant Cost Type: Active When toggled Nightblade deals less damage with his weapon but regenerates a portion of Magicka and Stamina with every weapon strike.

Siphoning Strikes decrease weapon damage of the Nightblade but restores Magicka and stamina with every hit. You can toggle the spell when you want.

Unlike other spells from Siphoning skill path Siphoning Strikes affects only your character. It siphons your attack power into regeneration. Though tour weapon hits become weaker you regenerate Magicka and Stamina every time you hit the enemy.

For some of you this skill may seem a little bit useless but don’ forget that you will be using other spells while fighting. Imagine that you are a Ranged damage dealer and you specialize in using Siphoning path. You can slow down the target with Cripple and apply Strife to deal sufficient damage. This tactics allows you to run around the target kiting it with your bow. Do you really need a lot of attack power in this situation? Magicka and Stamina regeneration will help you to restore your energies faster and you will be able to apply Siphoning spells once more.

Don’t forget that there is a passive ability called Transfer that gives you 1 Ultimate Point when you deal damage with Siphoning skills. Siphoning Strikes allow to use abilities often and recharge Ultimates faster. That’s why the ability is really usefull.
